Lincoln House provides a specialist therapeutic programme for young men (aged 11 to 18) who have been victim status of sexual harm/abuse, but have often also been victims of trauma and abuse themselves. Lincoln House is a spacious site in Lancashire offering specialist therapeutic care and education for up to five young men at any one time. The home has plenty of space, with a large living room, games room, kitchen/dining area and five en-suite young person bedrooms, which can be personalised by residents in terms of decor and furnishings. Lincoln House has a large, seperate DfE registered school, which offers education for residents of the home. The school has five large classroom areas which are subject specific, and also has a library area and kitchen facilities. The home and school share extended garden space, offering the residents room for play as well as teaching spaces for horticultural activities.
At Lincoln House we pride ourselves on separating behaviours from the child, and acknowledging the perpetrators of our young men, supporting them through our three phase ‘Well Being for Life’ recovery programme to enable them to move into less supervised, community based placements.
