Fostering in Northwich
Whether you are considering fostering in Northwich or are already an experienced foster carer, Care 4 Children would like to hear from you. Foster carers are needed throughout the area to provide happy, healthy and safe homes for children both long and short term.
As Care 4 Children is a small Northwich fostering agency, we can guide our foster carers individually through the process of becoming a foster carer and offer all the support they need throughout their career as a foster carer.
Northwich is situated on the Cheshire Plain close to Chester, Manchester and Warrington, so there is always plenty to do in this vibrant community. In 2014, the Sunday Times named the town one of the best places in the UK to live, and it is ideal for families.
Fostering can present challenges and you may have pre-conceived ideas about the type of person that makes a good foster carer; in fact, this is a career suitable for many different groups of people. Both married and single foster carers are needed. They can be in a same-sex relationship, have children of their own, and be working, retired or unemployed. It is not important whether you own your own home or rent or whether you can commit to full-time fostering – we would still like to hear from you.
The children our Northwich foster care agency looks after come from many different backgrounds and can be any age from toddlers up to teenagers. Sometimes we may be looking for a foster home for a group of siblings who do not want to be separated or a foster carer for a child with disabilities. As our children are so diverse, we need foster carers from many different backgrounds.
If you feel you may be able to offer a child a secure, safe and happy home, contact us at Care 4 Children. We can provide all the training and support you need and can offer you an allowance that covers the expenses of fostering a child in addition to rewarding your skills with realistic fees.
