Welcome to our Fostering Team

Amazing things happen throughout our fostering family every day. As a founder led agency, we put children at the heart of everything we do.
We take pride in ensuring a team approach, where our foster carers are supported to become part of our family. We are constantly striving to create a caring fostering community where our foster carers and staff work together to ensure children’s needs are met.
At Care 4 Children Fostering, we work relentlessly to recruit, train and support our foster carers and are committed to providing stable, caring, family environments in which children will thrive. Our foster carers have access to an excellent training programme of ongoing support which ensures we can place children with a variety of needs.
We employ experienced and highly skilled social workers to ensure that we achieve the best possible outcome for the children in our care, and that every placement receives the dedicated support in whatever way is needed.

Fostering in Worcestershire

Foster carers are special people, and here at Care 4 Children, we recognise that. As a small Worcestershire fostering agency, we have the advantage of being able to get to know everyone involved in our services and provide the individual support that is sometimes needed by children, teenagers and their carers on a day-to-day basis. We really value our foster carers and are looking to inform more people about the opportunities for fostering that exist in Worcestershire.

We are currently seeking both experienced and new foster carers to join our team of fostering in Worcestershire and help children and young people enjoy a better future.

Although fostering is not easy, it is an incredibly rewarding career. There are so many reasons a child or young person may come into contact with a Worcester foster care agency like ours. We know that whatever the reason they need foster care, they will probably be feeling very uncertain and insecure and may also experience feelings of anger, confusion, hurt or betrayal. It takes a special person to be there for a child in this situation.

There are different types of placements, with some just lasting a day or two and others lasting many years. Young people with more complex health or behavioural issues may need enhanced placements in which the carers are paid at a higher rate due to the increased care and commitment needed. Emergency placements are frequently needed when a child or young person may need a foster home the same day.

The cathedral city of Worcestershire is situated around 17 miles from Birmingham in the West Midlands. The historic city is located on the River Severn and is the site of the final battle in the Civil War. There is a diverse population, and because children come from many different backgrounds, we need lots of different types of people to care for them.

If you think you could make a difference in a young person’s life, why not contact us to find out more about what is really involved? It could be the first step to a new career!
